We said it was an early start and our alarms went off at 3.30am, although of course we were both lying there waiting.

Checked out of Hotel and they let us know there was a coffee cart in the dining room area.❤️

Jumped in our Uber for the hours drive to Oslo airport, although it seemed to go much faster as we were doing  145k/ hr in Toyota Prius.

Oslo managed to throw a nice little -10 this morning as well, i guess just to see us off.

Prior to taking off, our plane moves across to an ice bay where the wings are sprayed with something to melt all the ice, nice idea and you dont see that everyday where I come from!

Seemingly enjoyable flight to London, right up until we were literally about to land and the pilot aborted the landing and we took off skyward and went around.

When things had settled again, our pilot very calmly explained to us that an aircraft ‘not from around here’ had inadvertently wandered onto the runway.

Thankfully about 20minutes later we landed safely.
Very disconcerting to see all the emergency vehicles lined up with lights flashing.
Disaster averted.

Onto the tube and off to Harry and Tinas.

We have an appointment at midday for viewing of a house long rumoured to have been purchased by these two.
But first coffee at a very discreet little coffee shop, that you would never guess was there

Great coffee.
Great house, great location in Hackney, it’s very exciting, but all takes a long time in the UK, so fingers crossed for march.

The rest of the day was spent walking from there in Hackney back to Shoreditch.
Along Chatsworth Rd, through Victoria Park which is beautiful and huge, along Regents canal to London Fields and the Broadway Market where we got some exceptional market food for lunch and also a takeaway coffee @ Climptons, which is a crew that Tina used to work with.
It was like walking with a rock star, with people knowing Tina and saying hi.

We then walked along Columbia rd with all its quirky shops and a crazy flower market on Sundays.

Made it home and its getting pretty cold now so inside for some quiet time.

Next thing we know we off couch shopping.
This was a long held promise from stuart and I that we would love to buy something like this for Harry’s 30th birthday and therefore for the new house.
Lots of fun watching all the the decision making but an order was made.

Home again for an aperitif before going for dinner at a pasta shop literally next door, in fact i think Harry’s apartment sits above it.

Great food, great company, great to be back in London.
