We woke to magnificent snow this morning as predicted.
A little chilly 0c but feels ok.

Lots of discussion this morning about what to do. On one hand beautiful fresh snow to ski on and on the other visibility could be an issue.

We started to cement a plant to catch the skibus into the village, to have a bit of a look and Stuart needs some goggles particularly on a day like today.
But at the nth hour Harry was suffering a bit of fomo so piked on the village and he and Tina headed off to brave the elements.

Stuart and I caught the bus into the village and we have about an hour before the return bus is due.
We headed to lacooperativa di cortina, essentially a co op that has all sorts of departments selling all sorts.
Loads of ski gear funnily enough but also handmade things, souvenirs and a supermarket which definitely needs checking out.

Success with Stuart’s goggles and few other bits and pieces so we wandered around the village a little.
It’s a bit chilly and still snowing a lot so we head back for our bus.
Cortina is a very pretty village, lots of high end stores and Hotels.

Bus home and Stuart quickly gears up and is on his way to meet the others.

With the “slopes” app it is very easy to find each other. Harry,Tina and Stuart set off to the ski fields, very grateful for the new goggles. Multiple runs around Tofina express, pié Tofina then as conditions worsen we head closer to home and have multiple runs around Olympia.

The crew all home safe and sound about 4 pm.
No lectures today, so now is the long wait till dinner at 7.30.
