I’ll be honest and say i’m certainly not all better yet and spend a good part of the night awake and coughing but that also comes with reward.
I watch as we stop in places and offload people and goods and bring both on board as well.
The ship just cruises majestically through the fjords with these huge mountains that rise seemingly out of the water.
There is so much snow now.

A visit outside on the top deck takes a moment of planning and gathering all the layers to put on just to get out there and this is just for a  5 minute photo opportunity.

We arrive in Honningsvåg just before 11.
Another incredibly picturesque fishing village with a population of only around 2000.
It is the most Northern mainland village here in Norway.

Most of the passengers are off on excursions to other villages and also to North Cape.

We head off for a walk around town, i think it must be too cold for many locals, as there is just no one around but it is beautiful.

We did see a couple lovely ladies on the Norwegian equivalent of a wheelie walker, very cool.

Starting to lose feeling in my fingers and toes, so its time to head back to the warmth of the ship.
Perhaps some hot soup is in order.

A quiet afternoon as we rest up for a bit of an adventure this evening.
I was resting in the cabin when an announcement was made regarding home made apple pie and hot chocolate being served on the 7th floor, certainly enough to get me out the door only to find stuart was already there.

We arrived in Kjøllefjord at about 4.30 and we are layered and ready to go.
Tonight we are on a snowmobile excursion, yes it’s dark!
The sun set by about 3pm.

13 of us all up and we ride until we meet the ship again in Mehamn, the ship will pop in for about 20 minutes to pick us up.

Great trip, impossible to take photos as you cant take your hand out of the gloves, but as cold as it really was we were really warm in all the gear they provided us.
A wonderful trip but lovely to be back to the comfort of our big ship.
