1st January 2025. Happy New Year
Truly awful start to the New Year weather wise, so therefore difficult to rally but hungry tummies helped to get us out the door.
Whilst we were enjoying our New Year’s Day Eggs Benny, the London heavens opened and the rain was torrential.
Definitely skutteling our plans for Day 2 of the New Year itinerary, some readjustment required.
Did a bit of shopping for supplies for the home cooked 2 course meal and then home waiting for some improvement in the weather.
About 3pm as it was starting to get dark, we headed out on a Christmas lights adventure.
They remain on until about the 3rd January.
I remember seeing the Regent street angels when we were here years ago and our boys were little and they remained a gorgeous memory ever since.
We ventured through Carnaby st, Regent st, Saville Row, New Bond st before deciding we were all very cold and it was time to head home.
Harry and Tina spoilt us by cooking a fabulous meal and another early night in their cosy apartment.
I remember all the beautiful Christmas lights in Regent St - so pretty!! How gorgeous is the Christian Dior window!
